The Department of Posts is organizing the 2025 International Letter Writing Competition for Young People, and we're excited to share the details with you!


*Eligibility*

The competition is open to the participants of class VI to VIII 


*Subject*

"Imagine you are the ocean. Write a letter to someone explaining why and how they should take good care of you."


*Content and Form*

The composition must be presented in the form of a letter.

Date: 18/02/25 (Tuesday)

Time: CCA Periods 

*Language*

The letter can be written in English or any language listed in the 8th schedule of the Constitution of India.


*Prizes*

- *Circle Level:*

    - First Prize: Rs. 25,000 and a certificate

    - Second Prize: Rs. 10,000 and a certificate

    - Third Prize: Rs. 5,000 and a certificate

- *National Level:*

    - First Prize: Rs. 50,000 and a certificate

    - Second Prize: Rs. 25,000 and a certificate

    - Third Prize: Rs. 10,000 and a certificate


*Entry Requirements*

Each entry must have the following details on its first page in bilingual (both English and Hindi):


- Candidate's passport-size photograph

- Candidate's name

- Date of birth

- Sex (male/female)

- Father's/guardian's name

- Name of the school/institution and full address

- Full postal address
